Can't figure out how to download Xbox360 online games onto Xbox One

So basically I have the Game of Thrones Season pass downloaded from the online store on my xbox360. However, when I go to the store on my xbox one to download it there, it says I need to repurchase. Is this because theyre two separate consoles? Or is there
a way to download the game onto my xbox one without having to buy the season pass all over again?

How do we transfer an xbox live membership from xbox360 to Xbox one ? Should be simple but we can't figure it out

Activated 14 day Gold trial. Didn't realize I couldn't get games with Gold.

Talked to chat rep, had trial removed, added 1 year subscription. Was able to download 2 free xbox one games. Can't figure out how to download the xbox 360 ones though..

The game is not backwards compatible. So you would need to purchase the Xbox One version if you want to play on the One.

Sorry to hear it. Here is a complete list of all the backwards compatible games available for the Xbox One Xbox One Backward Compatibility

As you can see Game of Thrones is not listed. This is because there is a version of the game for both consoles. Because of this the season pass would need to be purchased separately for each version of the game.

The best way to figure that out is go onto each execede and hughesnet support forums and see whay other people are saying about xbox360 ...That how i did my research....Good luck hope everything works out..

Not sure if related to this thread. Was playing Rise on the Tomb Raider on my XBox 360 and just bought the XBox One version. On my Xbox360 I'm 90% done and saving to the cloud. Can't figure out how to open the cloud save on my new XBox one version. Suggestions?.
