    Can't enter payment details to change gamertag - region locked to European countries


    My son needs to change his gamertag.

    I can't seem to do it because when I select the payment method, and try to enter credit card details, the drop down countries are all European (we are in Australia).

    I have checked, and both Microsoft Account and Xbox account have 'Australia' as the region.

    Help appreciated.

    Hai Kyle... thank u so much for ur quick reply. Unfortunately, your suggestion is still NOT working. I already use the link that you gave to me, and change the country region, but the payment method it is locked in country/region for "USA". I can not change the "country/region". And also... there is no more options for PAYPAL for me. Why ???

    Something went wrong

    Gold memberships are region locked and can only be used for the country that they were intended. Also, if your gamertag is set for a different country then you could run into issues purchasing and downloading items.

    Please follow the steps at the link below to change your gamertag's region to your country so you can use your code.
