Can’t enter my world on switch.

Thanks for reaching out! It seems though that you are talking about a Switch and Nintendo. While it's an amazing device, it's not from Microsoft or associated to Xbox.

Thanks for the elaborate answer, but unfortunately none of the options solved the issue.

It doesn’t matter from where I try to connect to the Nintendo Switch world: If I try it from the XBOX, another Nintendo Switch or Minecraft on my phone, it all gives the same result: trying to Locate Server.

I don’t think it is a network related issue, because I am able to connect to that world with another (third) account.

If I try to connect first from XBOX and then from my phone, it says (on the phone) the connection can’t be made because the character is already playing in this world (while XBOX is still stuck on Locating Server). So, it looks like connection is made (from the message and the fact I can see the character in my world).

Like I said, I see the character in my Nintendo world, so I know where it enters every time. I tried putting some gravel blocks, so it wasn’t able to join at that location, but that also didn’t work. Also tried putting lava, to kill the character, but also doesn’t work.

I would like to remove the ‘cached’ data of people that joined my world. Basically a kind of reset of their character. I assume it’s stored/linked on my Nintendo Switch/cloud, but I have no idea where or how to do that.

Last resort is possible looking into Realms (and maybe make a copy of the world to another account).

Only goal is to play with the three of us together. Two is working, but somehow 1 character/account got screwed up (as it has worked before).

Let me know if someone has other ideas.

I tried this and the Minecraft re download part worked but I still can’t download my world.

You can’t switch texture packs without leaving the world in Bedrock, it reloads everything when you join. Closest workaround is to keep two copies of the world: one with the pack for solo play, one without it for when friends join. But yeah, even then, you’d still need to reload for the pack to fully apply—no way around that part.
