Cant enter a server in Sea of Thieves

Yeah so basically me and my friend were playing SOT on PC when suddently when we went to sell all our loot, the transactions didnt register, the loot was sold but no gold in return.

So we restarted the game and still no gold, and on top of that the whole server was just empty, no reapers, none of that.

So the next day the same again and again and sometimes it shows "Almondbeard error" even though my connection is more than amazing.

But guess what happens once i turn on the VPN to Germany (im from Israel by the way)? It runs perfectly (still no gold in return though).

Please help me solve this, thank you.

As you said VPN services can interfere with the correct game functionality.

I can advise some troubleshooting steps to do from your side. But if the issue persists you may need to reach Sea of thieves support.

First, is this happening on Xbox or PC?

The Sea of Thieves servers are hosted in the UK Microsoft datacenter.

Sea of thieves decided to uninstall itself for some reason over night, making it so that I cant play Sea of Thieves today due to the long download time.

If I buy Sea of Thieves on Steam, can I play with the same account as on the xbox app version? That way I wont need to deal with the Xbox app or its version of Sea of Thieves.

If you're trying to play the Xbox Insider version of Sea of Thieves, then be aware that this was the closed Beta before the game launched.

Unless they added an Insider Version after I checked two days ago, you can't play that version, as the servers don't accept the Sea of Thieves Beta client anymore.

You will have to buy the actual game, or have an active Game Pass subscription to be able to play Sea of Thieves.

It still pulls up with the error when I try to install sea of thieves : / I also tried dragon ball fighterz which after resetting my pc could install but it still cant launch. So sea of thieves cant even download while dragon ball fighterz and other games can but cant launch. They all pop up with the same 0x803f001 error now.
