Can't enter a seed in the seed generator

    Can't enter a seed in the seed generator


    I want to put in a seed from a friends world in the seed generator but when I hit the a button the keyboard won't come up, is there a way to fix this on my end?

    Minecraft Seeds: Xbox 360 Version ONLY!

    I have tried numerous seeds. None of them have turned out to be anything they said they would be. What am I doing wrong? I put the seed in the seed generator spot right?

    Seeds not the same between PC and XBOX?

    Not tested, but I was told people were very close to figuring out the PC seed generator, so then they changed it. Next they released XBox 360, with a 3rd different seed generator. Unconfirmed rumors at this time. Try the Mojang Twitter feed.

    I personally haven't tried this, but I have noticed the keyboard is NOT working in other parts of the game for me, such as with signs

    You enter the seed code for it to generate that specific world/map.

    What is SEEDing?

    Seeds are used as a basis for world generation.

    So if you enter the same seed name/number/etc as me, we will have the same map.

    If you type in "TOYOTA" as a seed, your world will look like this:

    Google ""Minecraft seeds" and if the xbox version uses seed generating, you can put the code in there and load custom maps :)
