Can't engage Dolby Vison

Discus and support Can't engage Dolby Vison in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; So I have a TV that is capable of Dolby vision.     Can't engage Dolby Vison


    So I have a TV that is capable of Dolby vision. I know this or should I say, I actually just found this out while watching Netflix from the TV itself. I usually watch Netflix through my Xbox one x. When I went to see if I could use Dolby vision on my Xbox I see that the option is greyed out.

    For some reason I can't seem to engage it.

    What is wrong with my XBSX?

    Okay so apparently it’s something with Dolby Vision gaming as it only happens when i start up a game that uses dolby vision. And when I turn dolby vision gaming off every game works fine. I don’t understand what is happening with dolby vison gaming though as I’ve been using it fine until i just got done playing BF2042.

    Have you tried turning Dolby vision off on your TV then turning the TV off, taking the power out and turning it back on and re-engaging the Dolby vision ?

    (Not sure if that can be done on an LG, it can on my Sony)

    Dolby vison not running correctly on xbox series x

    Most likely the electronics on the television have been reevaluated as not being quite adequate for Dolby Vision. It's warning you that it will not necessarily be 100% performance and setting a 4K/60 ceiling.
