Can't download tomb raider

Hi,

I am having problems downloading tomb raider but I don't have any issues when I download other games, it starts normally untill it reaches 80 It restarts to zero again ,

I had the game before but then deleted it to download another,I didn't have this problem before.

I'm having the same problem with the game Tomb Raider Anniversary, i've already download again, and again but the same msg keep showing "Can't Launch Tomb Raider..."

Can you delete the game (there might be a stub file on your HDD), and then clear your cache three times?

Clearing cache:
support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

Then turn the console off and on again and restart the download.

Could you also post back which region (country) you live and and whether or not your gamertag is set to the same region? If they are different then that could be the reason you're having difficulties as some content cannot be downloaded to countries they
were not intended for.

 

My region is the UK, also my system items doesn't have system cache only content cache,could that be the problem?,I am going to try do what was suggested above and get back to you.

 

If you're seeing "content cache" in the same place as the guide I linked says you should be finding "system cache", then it should be the same thing and you can just proceed. It's possible that one of this year's dashboard updates changed the exact wording,
but if it's in the same place then it will have the same effect.

It didn't work it restarted to 2% again.

 

Does your account region reflect your actual region? Are you actually in UK?

If not that would be why

We don't mean continent

We mean country so if you are in Belgium but account region is UK it's is a region violation

 

Hi Vanilla, you said it restarted at 2%, but was that when you initiated the download? If so, that's normal and please let it continue downloading. If it was after it hit 80% again, please let us know.

 

Yes,it was after 80 percent nothing seems to fix it.

 

Okay, clear the cache again as you did before and delete the partial installation. Can you now download other content that exceed the total installation size of Tomb Raider (for instance, if Tomb Raider is 6.7GB (hypothetical number, check this yourself),
then download content of roughly 7GB in total - multiple game demos, trial versions of Arcade games). Then restart the download of Tomb Raider.

The point of this is just in case part of your hard drive is malfunctioning, we fill that up with other things and force the installation of Tomb Raider onto a separate section.

I downloaded a game that was 7.6 gb and it worked ,the games that have this problem are the ones from the codes I redeemed last year,the games that were bought digitally are fine.
