can't download the witcher 2

Hi guys,

I have a Hong Kong xbox, HK region code and I'm currently living in Germany.

On the HK version of xbox.com it says I can download the game, but no link provided. When I search for the game via my xbox, it can't be found.

Would be nice to find a solution to this issue, thanks!

ps:

I must mention, that I'm really in a foul mood. MS makes it very difficult for people who move around a lot.

While I had the region code for Germany, most of the time I couldn't play or download the gold games, because the X-Box was sold in a different region, where I lived previously before moving back to Germany for 5 years. Besides that I already have to import
a lot of games I hoped that at least the gold games would work but no... So I decided to switch back my region code to HK, while living in Germany because I thought that might help. But oh wonder, thats even worse, because now I don't even see the gold games
which I should be able to download...

No specific error code. All it says is "can't download the witcher 2"

I try to download it, it gets to 67% but it says: Can't Download: The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

 

Your issue would be because you have an out of region account you would have to have an German account to download anything while in Germany

For the best experience with Xbox live your account region and actual region has to match.and on the odd occasion the console region too

This is something you experience everyday

As you travel you have to follow the rules of your country every country has different rules on content especially Germany

It does not outright bans games but they have rules on what content is available in games this means locatization

Ms and you both have to follow international laws and distibutiom rights
