Cant download The Witcher 2 for free on Xbox One

I've tried to download The Witcher 2 on the Xbox One for free since its available in the UK however for some reason I can't. I tried on the Xbox but it says bundle only and when i press bundle only it brings me back to the same page. On the website, it says
its not available in my region... I've even tried different browsers but the same thing happens.

I've talked to customer support and he directed me here in hope you could help.

^ Wanted to add to my post (I hadn't made it over to the Xbox One forum and heard about Major Nelson's announcement when I posted the above), it looks like Witcher 2 will be free in select regions until February 5.

A snippet from Major Nelson's blog post: "And finally, Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners in select regions can download The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings for free on Xbox.com anytime between now and February 5."

Have you tried to change the locale of your console in Xbox One?

 

I have the same problem on the Xbox One in the US as well. on the website, I cannot "purchase" free content (including preview videos and demos) because I don't use a credit/debit card

 

If the system asked you to add a credit card, please do. This is only for verification process. You may also try to update your billing information and see if this would work.

 

I cannot even change my region.

 

Attempting to download Witcher 2 for free, the only option available for me is *Bundle*. I am in the US, my console region is the US. I've tried multiple resets and near anything else I could think of. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

 

Mano if you mean a us military base those don't count as the US

They count as the host country

 

Mano's problem has nothing to do with military bases. everybody has that problem if they try to buy it through the Xbox One.

Xbox.com requires a credit card to obtain free Xbox360 content, but if you are using an Xbox360 you don't need one, for some stupid reason

 

yeah, just tried it on 360 and same bundle only option. What's up? I would like to try the series out since I never played it, but it looks good. I'd hate to miss out on the offer which I think expires tonight. I've tried XO, 360 and website and same
result. Help?

 

You can't use the xbox one console for purchasing 360 game's it must be the xbox 360 not the one marketplace and you have to change it to your region on the locale

So when you search you must use the 360 link it is usually labelled as a 360game
