Can't download No Man's Sky PC Game Pass

I'm unable to download No Man's Sky on PC using the Xbox game pass.

It gets to 61mb/9.2gb and then stops and brings up the error message "Check your internet connection, we couldn't connect you to the service" with the error code: 0x800704c6.

Have tried all the fixes I could find but nothing works.

Out of curiosity, where are you guys connecting from who can't download it? I am connecting from Australia and it won't install. I have since connected to a VPN (work VPN into South Africa) and restarted the download, and it's now running, although very
slowly. Maybe try a VPN if you can and see if it makes a difference.

I was having this same problem all yesterday, then this morning I used my phone to remote download the game, it froze at 61MB for a few seconds but then kept going.

Not sure if it's a fix for everyone but it worked for me.

VPN worked for me too, I'm in New Zealand but VPN'd to Hong Kong and my installation resumed (was sticking at 4.5 of 9.2GB)

I used Proton VPN, which had a free trial of it's PLUS service. The download speed was slower - of course - but at least the game installed

Having the exact same issue, stops at 61 mb for me also and then stops with the same code.

Hello, unfortunately you don't seem to be the only one in this case, I think it's a temporary bug
