    I bought minecraft pc version a few days ago and it says it comes with a free version of minecraft windows 10, but when i get the code and try to use it , it says it has been used before and i cant do anything about it . i have two accounts and checked them
    both, both displayed the same things saying the code has been used. what is going on? i have not used the code in anyway and i cant find anywhere to let me get a download link. this is the first time that i used a Microsoft account to buy a game and it
    seems all messed up , it swapped me between different accounts and it really gives me a headache. anyone can help thank you so much !

    Haven't received Alan Wake or Quantum Break PC codes.

    By the way, both DLC are free, so you will receive code for Alan Wake and Window 10 version cant download minecraft window 10 version with free code ;)

    Having Minecraft Java version with Windows 10 version

    Hello

    I bought Minecraft Windows 10 version, but It was a mistake.

    I have also one computer with Windows 7 and I can't use Minecraft Windows 10 version on this environnement version.

    Is that possible for you to cancel my order L: 4497045594?

    After speaking with Xbox support on Twitter it seems it's possible.

    With Minecraft Java version, I can have Minecraft Windows 10 version for free.

    Apologies for this confusion because Minecraft via Mojang's site, we can have also Windows 10 version for free (after buying Java version) but not vice versa.

    As someone who has Minecraft for both Xbox One and Windows (both Win 10 version and the Java version) I can answer this.

    Poli5hesBubble: When the Windows 10 Edition (Windows Store Version) of the Minecraft entered public Beta in 2015/2016, owners of the pre-existing Java version were given a key to download and own the Windows 10 Edition (Windows Store Version) for free, as
    they already owned it for PC (in Java form). However, this does NOT work in reverse; if you bought the Windows 10 Edition (Windows Store Version), you will NOT be given a free copy of the Java version.

    KyleCBlanchard: Similar to the answer for Poli5hedBubble, if you own the Java version from Minecraft.net, you should be able to go to your Mojang account, log in and see a key that, once entered into the Windows Store or at redeem.microsoft.com, will allow
    you download the free copy of Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition for free.

    Minecraft: Bedrock edition code

    If you own the Java edition on PC, you can get the Windows 10 PC version that allows to play with other 'Bedrock' additions on other devices (mobile, console etc.). It's does not give you the Xbox version for free.

    There are two versions if Minecraft on the Xbox:

    • Minecraft
    • Minecraft for Xbox One

    It is the first one that is the bedrock version and is available on Game Pass. Are you sure you just didn't download it from there?

    If you did already get a code and redeemed it on the store on the Xbox, it should still be for the Windows 10 version. You don't get a choice.

    Just try and download the Windows 10 version on the Microsoft store on the PC.

    What's on your Xbox would not be the Windows 10 Edition as that only works on PC. Did they give you a code for the Windows 10 edition?

    I haven't heard of any promotions with Xbox giving the Windows 10 Edition for free with purchasing the Xbox One version. There was a free upgrade from Minecraft: Xbox One Edition to the current version which is just Minecraft.
