Can't Download Minecraft even though I own Xbox Game Pass

minecraft is only available through gamepass on console, needs to be purchased for every other platform including pc.

Since Minecraft is not a Play Anywhere title you would have to purchase the Windows 10 version in order to play it on the PC even though you own it for the Xbox. They are considered different. Same reason as to why it won't install through Game Pass since
Games Pass is primarily for the console and only games that are also Play Anywhere titles can be downloaded and played on the PC through Game Pass.

I can't download Frontiers Edge on Xbox 360 even though I have the season pass. Tried refreshing and clearing cache. It keeps giving me same message it can't download Frontiers Edge.

Ok, so let me get this straight, if someone buys an Xbox, and a game. But before you can play it you need to buy both gamepass and Xbox live, two subscriptions, just to be able to play it??? That is pretty crazy
