Can't download GoW4 for PC Play Anywhere

I purchased the GoW bundle along with the XBox One S. I was told that all i had to do was head over to the Windows 10 store after having played GoW4 on my account for Xbox, but everytime i look the game up in the store, it tries to charge me for another game.
How do i go about telling my account that i do own this game? It pops up in the Xbox App for Windows 10.

GOW4 PC Anywhere Not Working

I'm a long time PC gamer. So, I just purchased a new Xbox One S with Gears of War4. System is great. However, when I go to the store, I can't download GOW4 for my PC, it tries to make me buy it again. I'm not understanding the "PC anywhere" feature?

Can i install the game from the disk on windows 10?

Just purchase digital game, then you can play it on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC at no additional cost and game that support Play Anywhere feature. It's not many games for now: GoW4, Forza Horizon 3 and more comming soon Xbox Play Anywhere | Xbox

With your account logged in, click this
link to check for the list of games that your Xbox Profile is licensed with. Make sure to sign in with the Microsoft account associated with the gamertag that was used to play the said game.

To help resolve your concern with downloading and Gears of War 4 on Windows 10, kindly refer to the solutions below:

Method 1: Check for updates for apps and games from Windows Store.

Click this
link and perform the steps provided to check for any available updates. After you have completed updating, try to download the game this time from Windows Store and check if it works.

Method 2: Reset the Windows Store Cache.

Kindly perform the following steps on your Windows 10 PC:

1. Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog box.

2. Type WSReset.exe and click OK.

3. The Store and a command prompt will now open with any message. The command prompt will automatically close after the Store's cache has been reset.

After resetting the Windows Store Cache, try to download the game this time from Windows Store and check if it works.

If you have a disc version of the game, it does not qualify for Xbox Play Anywhere.

If you redeemed a code, make sure that the correct profile where you redeemed the code is the account logged in under your Windows Store app.

You can't download xbox titles that are not part of play anywhere list to your pc.

Hi!

GOW4 is a Play Anywhere compatible title (purchasing it digitally from the Store) and you can play it on console and PC. Unfortunately, the offer to receive GOW 1, 2 and 3 (playing GOW Ultimate Edition before the date) is now finished on December 31st 2015.
