    I use game pass on pc and have used it to play many games.

    recently I have lost the ability to download games but I can still launch and play the games that I already have. I have tried every thing recommended to me and even contacted the Xbox support but they were no help.

    Did you download the game through Game Pass or have you purchased the game through the store?

    If it was downloaded through Game Pass, GTAV has been cycled out of the rotation and is no longer available to play through Game Pass which may be causing the issue.

    Xbox gamepass ultimate won't give me the option to install games on my PC. Is that intended?

    Make sure the games you're trying to download are available for the PC through Game Pass and/or Play Anywhere. Not all of the same games will work on both.
