Can't download games from Xbox Game Pass

The Game Pass games can't be downloaded from the Windows Store, you need the official Game Pass App.

Thank you again for getting in touch, Solution 1 was a help and I can now choose a location to install games to, however I'm now getting the Xbox error 0x00000001.

I'm struggling to understand your solution 2 - I can't find what I'm looking for. I have typed 'settings' into the start menu and chosen that option, but then I can't find 'applications and resources'

Solutions for this error code from the Xbox desktop app itself state to make sure I have the Windows KB5004476 update. I cannot find this from the list of updates even though my PC should now be completely up to date

Find gaming services, click on it, go to advanced options, and tap repair
