Can't Download Game From Disc

My issue is that I am currently trying to download Forza Horizon 2 on disc, but the installation keeps stopping even though my connection, storage, and disc are all fine. I've restarted the Xbox, the installation, and just about everything else. I honestly
have no clue at this point as to what the problem could be. The installation keeps stopping at %26, but since it says the game is ready to start, and in game, it says the installation is at %74 and wont move at all.

You can't play a disc game while installing another disc game

But you can play a disc game while another is downloading, play a download while installing a disc or play a download while installing another download.

Hey there IntrepidTurtle.

A couple things may be preventing you from finishing the installation. To start off, can you try setting your Xbox One to offline and give the install a chance while disconnected from Xbox Live? If that helps, you should be able to reconnect and download
the update with no problem. Let us know what's up

If it's the same code as the xbox 360 code, then it means it can't download. Try disconnecting the xbox from xbox live and see if that helps, some users are stating that the game is downloading the update for the game before it installs from the disc.

You can't download a digital version from the store unfortunately, when you did a factory reset did it allow you to re-install the game from disc or did it not recognise the disc in the drive still?

If it allowed you to install it could be waiting for the latest updates to download and install.

It's been de-listed from Xbox Live as a digital purchase. However, it hasn't been removed for backwards compatibilty. If you want this game, you will need to buy it on disc.

The game will download from Live, but you can't purchase the none disc version anymore.

Simply insert your discs into your Xbox One console, and make sure the console is connected online to Xbox Live.

The Xbox One has to download a "translated" version of the Xbox 360 game, as the disc is simply a "proof of purchase". The data on the disc is in a machine language the Xbox One can't understand, therefore it has to download a "translated" version from the
online marketplace.

After the console has downloaded the game, you need to keep the disc in the drive to prove you still own the game.
