    Can't download game: Error 0x80073cf3


    I'm trying to download the game "A Plague Tale" using my Game Pass (through the Windows Store and the Xbox app - both on Windows 10), but I keep getting the error 0x80073cf3, with the message "wait a few minutes and try again". The problem is I've been trying to download this game since yesterday (with multiple attempts), but nothing seems to work. The Windows troubleshooter didn't resolve the problem, resetting the Windows store did nothing, and I've even formatted my HD and reinstalled Windows, but that didn't work either. The Error Page says "This means that there’s already an existing version of the game on your console or Windows 10 device", but there isn't, because this error keeps me from even downloading this game. I was able to download other games from the store (like Sea of Thieves and Spiritfarer, for example), but still can't download the "A Plague Tale", and have no idea why this is happening. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

    Hi there SaoruYuki welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. I had this issue around a year ago. I could tell you all the 10 steps I followed to solve it, unfortunately what helped me to solved this was to restart my PC as it comes here:

    In the part of Windows 10 click on "Reset this PC" these instructions will help you to solve the problem, you can even leave your important files!
