    Can't download free Xbox 360 Gold games


    Like the title says, I've been unable to successfully download any of the free Xbox 360 games for the last month and a half.

    For some reason, this problem has only involved the Star Wars games. (My last successful download was Deadfall Adventures.) It doesn't matter if I'm playing something or not.

    I worked with tech support and they were unable to diagnose the problem: service request number

    As the free games are the only reason I have the Gold membership, I'll be canceling it at the end of this month if I can't get this problem fixed.

    Still can't download GWG 360 games on Xbox One even after newest update

    My son has a paid xbox live gold subscription and I am able to download the free xb1 games under it including the rated M ones because I do not have content restrictions set.

    Are you saying there is some special restriction that you can't download the free xbox 360 games under a child xbox live gold account?

    Is any game you pay for yours forever or does it expire with your Gold pass?

    Well, if you get the Xbox 360 games, they are forever free to own to download later, even without Gold, but Xbox One, those will not be free if Gold expires.

    Yep . I got a gold subscription. The free games are sometimes good but are usually older games. How do i download the free 360 games onto my xb1? For some reason I can't . do I need a 360 console as well?

    Or, more importantly, are you still a Gold subscriber? Xbox 360 games are free for life once downloaded on that console, but Xbox One games are only free for the length of your Gold subscription.
