    Can't download Dark Souls???


    When I try to download Dark Souls,it says "This game does not match your console. It will not be downloaded, and you have not been charged"? How can I fix this? I have the Xbox set up in the correct Language and Locale settings!

    Can't download Dark Souls

    This morning I tried to download Dark Souls.

    The game appeared in my active downloads for brief moment, before my Xbox flashed the message saying "Can't download Dark Souls".

    I checked the internet connection, and it seems fine. Is it my Xbox, or is there some problem with the download?

    Any help or advice would be most appreciated! Can't download Dark Souls??? :)

    Your console's language and locale don't matter when using the Marketplace. What matters is your profile's region you picked when you first created it. It can be migrated to match the country where you are using your account so that you can access the Marketplace
    and download stuff. Here's some help for that:

    hello and i hope i dont spam

    but when try download dark souls for first time it says this game does not match your console and i got angry at first but then i did a trick that made me pass them and then it download it and when it was finshed i said yay then it hit me it says this game
    does not match your console (wrong reigon) so what do i do and my xbox is PAL version

    ^You need to migrate your profile's region to match the region of the games you're trying to download/play. It's rather strict and it has been done to prevent people from accessing content they are not supposed to be able to get due to (copyright) laws.

    I just purchased Dark Souls earlier today on the xbox on demand store. I, then, canceled the download for later on. But, when i went back to the download history, it didn't show Dark Souls on there. Any Ideas???????

    Dark Souls Not working

    You may have an error on one particular section of your hard drive, try this.

    Delete the dark souls game from your hard drive, then go to the marketplace and download any free game demo, then re-download the dark souls game.

    This will put the dark souls game on a different section of your drive, and may fix the issue.
