"Can't Download Bon Jovi Song Pack" for Rocksmith 2014

My story starts off with me buying a pre-paid $50 xbox card. After I redeemed the card on Xbox Live, I was able to afford 4 song packs from Rocksmith dlc, I was able to download 3 of the song packs just fine, but with the Bon Jovi Song Pack, the download
would start at 0%, sometimes go up to 1% (if it did it dropped back down to 0% again), and then I would get the error message "Can't Download Bon Jovi Song Pack". I tried several times afterwards not changing anything. Nothing different. I tried changing where
I downloaded (Xbox Live Marketplace, Download History, and Rocksmith Store). Nothing different. I tried changing where I downloaded to (Hard Drive and USB), Nothing different. I also tried downloading straight from the Wifi router (wired) and wireless. I tried
searching online for a solution, but everything I came across either wouldn't solve the situation or was an Ubisoft or Microsoft representative pretending the issue was all of a sudden resolved or blaming the other company for the problem. I don't want to
play blame games. I just want to access the content that I paid $12 + tax for. It looks like several people have had this problem with no working solution (none that I could find). My internet / xbox live connection isn't the problem. Neither is it a corrupted
file on my end. When I go to storage there is no partial download. I tried clearing the system cache, restarting my internet, downloading from shutdown, and deleting and redownloading my xbox live profile, along with several different combinations of the previous,
and I haven't had a different result. Please let me know if there is anything else that I can try, or if there is a known fix for the issue. I, along with several other customers, would greatly appreciate it.

I have the same problem with the Bon Jovi Pack & Rocksmith 2014 on XBOX360. Other downloads work ok

 

Unable to download Bon Jovi song pack for Rocksmith 2014 on 360

I purchased the Bon Jovi song pack for rocksmith 2014 a day ago and it wont download on my 360.

It simply comes up with a message that it Can't download Bon Jovi Song Pack.

I have gone into my Account Settings and tried to re download it. It goes to 1% then back to zero and displays the same message.

I have tested network connections and all is fine. While in account settings I tested downloads by re downloading other content and that all works fine and downloads without error. It is specifically only this Bon Jovi song pack that does not download. It
sits on 0% for a while, goes to 1% then instantly back to zero. Then comes up with the same message.

I went to the hard drive to manage the content and Bon Jovi pack does not exist so it has not even been partially downloaded. There is also plenty of space. I also noticed that while on the re download screen for all other songs, it has the options to Play
or Download again, where as for Bonjovi it only has the Download option so it definitely has not downloaded it yet.

 

Most often this, in my experience, is caused by a mix of download read error and syatem cache error. Other possibilities include an overloaded download server.

Solution 1 if, download read error and cache error:

1. Check system storage on all possible storages that may hold the corrupt add-on file.

2. Apon finding the corruption, delete the file. Please note the file may be registered on your console as "unknown game" with a yellow circle and exclamation point, please delete this as well.

3. After clearing the corrupt files, proceed to clear your system cache.

4. Finally, once you've preformed the steps above turn off your console for 5 minutes, reboot then proceed to redownload the add-on once more. This may be easier if downloaded if your console is in a shut down.

Solution 2, overloaded download server:

Note this requires patience and is less likely the issue.

1. You must simply wait a few days then retry after clearing any corrupted files.

 

Thanks for the response! Unfortunately, I can't find the corrupted file. There is no incomplete file in my Rocksmith directory or Rocksmith 2014 directory, and I looked through all of my storage and couldn't find an unknown game directory.

 

it's not a corrupted file, its an issue somewhere with the DLC itself, neither Ubisoft or Xbox can figure it out.....it also happens to be affecting one of the Foo Fighter packs. I have even downloaded the single song "Blaze of Glory" from the Bon Jovi
pack a couple of months back and then cleared all of my files in an attempt from Xbox support to identify the problem with downloading the rest of the songs and now I can't even download that again. Its been going on for a while and it is rather frustrating
as I would love to play the DLC I have bought.

 

I agree. This should have been fixed immediately after the issue was discovered. There's another thread I've been following with the foo fighters song pack II (forums.xbox.com/.../2027924.aspx)
since it's probably the same issue, and it looks like they may have a fix soon as long as Microsoft and Ubisoft don't abandon the issue again. It would've been nice to hear from a Microsoft representative though. It's been a month since I posted the thread.
