Can't download Bioshock or Oblivion

I recently purchased the new 500 GB Hard Drive but I cannot download Bioshock or Oblivion onto it I get a failed download message on both games after multiple attempts. I have tried the usual suggestions so any further advice please.

I am currently downloading bioshock 2. Am I able to play oblivion since its an offline game without interrupting the download or do i have to stay at the dashboard / active download screen?

If you could, please post back what the exact troubleshooting steps were that you've already done. I want to make sure that we avoid asking you to do them over if we could.

I finally mangaed to resolve the issue in case it helps anyone else i'll explain what I did.

Both games would fail upon download they would only download a certain percentage then inform me that the game failed to download. I tried the usual e.g clearing system cache, removing USB devices, wired connection etc.

Solution:

I downloaded the game DLC from the marketplace first such as Ryan Industries Plasmids for Bioshock once that downloaded I tried the actual game download and it finally completed.

The same for Oblivion I downloaded all of the DLC I had purchased and then once installed downloaded the game which also completed.

Hopefully this may help others havingsinilar issues.

I have the Ryan industries plasmid pack already, Download fails for Bioshock at 12 % try uninstalling the Ryan indsutries pack, same problem fix it or give me my bloody money back

 

I have no DLC for oblivion, is it required to fix this?
