Can't download any game from the Microsoft Store while using PC gamepass

I have been trying to download "The Outer Worlds" or any other game available for free with game pass for sometime up to 4 hours now and have searched and searched online for solutions and have found 0. Originally when I was downloaded games they would say
that they had been installed and I would receive a notification saying the game was installed and to click here to check it out. Clicking that button lead me back to the store page where it said the game had not been installed yet and I was unable to find
it anywhere on my PC even though it was taking up space on my hard drive. I eventually solved this problem but now every single time I try to download any game off of the store I am met with this error.

After searching this error code up on the forums I have found out that every single explanation for it has been almost identical and I have tried every single thing except a clean boot. I am at a loss for what I need to do and after sitting here banging
my head against a wall for 4+ hours I am beyond annoyed. Would love to hear if people have been experiencing a similar problem and how they have solved it.

sorry to hear. Please help us to help you, beacause the error code 0x8007001F means "A device attached to the system is not functioning."

Did you change a
default install locations (at settings->storage->)??

The game pass ultimate subscription is divided into 3: xbox / pc / xbox and pc /
The name of gamepass ultimate corresponds to the fact that it has a gold subscription to be able to play online.
You can access the microsoft store from your pc and try to download any game that you want to enjoy the service, if it allows you to download it without the need for another subscription, you have the console and pc gamepass.

if you have gamepass pc or gamepass ultimate then you should be able to download those games. is the windows install fully up to date and is there any updates waiting in the microsoft store app.

You can't transfer games from an Xbox to a PC.

If the games you own are 'Play Anywhere' titles, you should be able to download them from the Microsoft Store.

Alternatively, if you are a 'Gamepass Ultimate' subscriber, you may able to find the games you want there, but you can't just transfer games from the console to the PC.

You can't merge accounts ever on any server it is a security risk

You can download other games from your store profile but you cannot use your gamrsaves from the other profile

I think you are mistaking the proccess

One you only need to be signed into the gamepass account in the XBOX App to download the games from gamepass

You only need to sign in on the store profile with your gamrsaves if you need to download from that store profiles games and to play those games saves

You aren't downloading any new profiles you are only accessing to profiles from within the xbox app

Whenever you choose to use the gamepass profile for saves well you just made it harder

So as long as you don't use gamrsaves or certain features like gamepass ultimate cloud play you will be fine with only the original account

Cloud requires the account with the subscription
