can't download a backward compatibility game on my xbox one

i can't download a game on my xbox one of the backward compatibility games. it says i must download it on de xbox while i am on the xbox one.

what must i do?

Backward Compatibility

Every month I download 2 free games on Gold to my Xbox one, but, i cannot download the 360 games from Gold into my Xbox one for backward compatibility. How do i activate my Xbox One to start playing backward compatible 360 games.

If it's not backwards compatible (and this game isn't) then no, it won't work. You can view the backwards compatibility list
here. If a game is not on that list, you can't play it on an Xbox One.

depending how you purchased the game it should go to your ready to install que under My games section. the two ways you can purchase is through the universal store or through the website xbox/backwardscompatibility website.

also, sometimes if it doesn't show up right away, it helps to reboot your console.

i have a gold subscription and i tried to download it with that page and i on the xbox store, but it didn't work. i have tried it also other days but it didn't worked then either

Its Because your a child account

Either you download it with an xbox 360 console or have a parental account with gold not home gold download the content for you to play

I'm afraid Pinball FX2 is not backwards compatible. You can't download this game on to your Xbox One.

There is not a One version of the game, but the 360 version is backwards compatible so it will play on the One.

Thanks for your answer. So if I buy the game I can download it on my Xbox One despite I can't find it on Xbox One store? I think if the game is backward compatible it would also be available in the Xbox One store. Or am I wrong?

Hello, my xbox live profile is called "RinsableMLG" and today for some reason, I can't play xbox 360 backwards compatible games be ause my profile won't download on the xbox 360 servers. I can play xbox one games, but I can't play my xbox 360 games
and my profile won't download and it states "There's a problem with your credentials, blah blah blah". If I use my other two accounts, I can play on the xbox 360 games but not my RinsableMLG one. I seriosuly don't know what to do and I'm panicking right now.

I have the exact same problem. I was just trying to play saints row but couldn't connect to xbox live on backwards compatibility. So I deleted my account and now I can't download on backwards compatibility with the same error message as you.
