Can't Decide On What Games To Get

I've got just enough for a new game or a few old games and can't decide.

Choices are:

Destiny

Fifa 15

COD:Advanced Warfare

Borderlands 2/GTA 5

:)

I would personally steer clear of L.A. Noire. I disliked it, it felt rather repetative and the story (only completed homicide for those wondering) made no sence what so ever. And those "oh so thats why he did that" kinda moments where aweful.

Gameplay: 3/10

Graphics: 9/10

Story: 2/10

personally portal 2 is your best choice there, its fun and can be played co-op, the story for both co op and singleplay is furnominal and nothing short of amazing, and the gameplay gives you many "ah thats hows its done" and rewarding feelings

 

Can't decide what to do

Hello people, at the moment, I have saved up reasonable a lot amount of money. I am heavily interested into couple of many games. I am only gonna buy one of these games. Also my friend is willing to sell Fallout New vegas for £15, is that a good deal? I
am gonna buy only one game out of the list, so dont recommend me over 1!!!

Transformers Dark of the moon

Portal 2

L.A Noire

Dirt 3



Or shall I buy fallout new vegas off my mate?

I'm in the same boat as you, but with different games. Of your list, I would get GTA5 and CoD. I really despise CoD, but Advanced Warfare looks really good in regards to singleplayer.

 

I say get Advanced Warfare, I really think this is going to be the COD that brings the franchise back.

 

I'm in the same boat, though thinking of Mordor or The Evil Within.

I'm sure there's other games that I'm just not remembering right now, I might even end up buying two, haha.

 

Maybe it's not the answer OPie wants to hear, but I'd say decide based on what you like about a videogame. If you want to play, say, Destiny over AW, then get Destiny. You can always buy AW at a later date.

 

I ended up going with The Evil Within as it just feels right. It's October, I've already played one scary game this month so why not another to get the theme going.

 

Destiny will keep you addicted I swear. I've invested so much time in it. Borderlands 2 is pretty amazing. AW looks decent too but don't judge a book by its cover. So if you want my honest opinion I'd go with Destiny and Borderlands 2. And when the time
is right and the reviews are good, get AW.

 

Wait a couple weeks and get the new Dragon Age game.

P.S. It helps us when you list what kind of games you prefer.

 

Destiny is only fun if you actually know people who will play it with you. It's not one of those games that you can enjoy with random people.

 

^I've enjoyed it with plenty of random people and have actually met a few gamers while playing it, so I strongly disagree with you there. It does get to a point where you'd rather play with people you can hold a good conversation with though....

I know the OP didn't mention it, but I got The Evil Within for my choice and it's quite gruesome. I've had some tense moments, but gruesome is the best word to describe it. Intriguing would be another though as I didn't quite want to turn it off last night.
I can't wait to figure out what the #@^## is going on.

Destiny is indeed addictive. When the beta closed down, everyone I know was crying like their model-hot s/o just took a two week "vacation" to Europe to "find themselves". It's a solid buy. That said, I have gotten tons of enjoyment from Borderlands 2 since
it's been out. Fantastic game, that one. Worth picking up whether it's now or later.
