Can't Decide… Destiny for PS4 or X1?

i don't know what to get it for. looking for the most popular online community and the smoothest gameplay. i know I'm in an xbox forum but for people that have both systems what do you think?

Can't Decide On What Games To Get

I've got just enough for a new game or a few old games and can't decide.

Choices are:

Destiny

Fifa 15

COD:Advanced Warfare

Borderlands 2/GTA 5

 

Xbox One- Games Really Worth $60?

I don't like any of the games that PS4 or XB1 have right now, so I can't help you there. I'm leaning towards the PS4, but I haven't made up my mind. I have a year or so to decide.

I have destiny for both consoles.

I honestly can't tell the difference between both versions graphically.

They are both performing just a smoothly as each other as far as I can tell.

I actually find I play the xbox one version more due to preferring xbox live over PSN even though the ps4 has the exclusive content like the extra crucible map.

Also the recent players list on the ps4 does not work with destiny so it's more difficult sending friend requests.

If you are not really bothered about the exclusive content then you won't be disappointed with the xbox version.

 

Iv'e called some store and they said its definitely been selling better on ps4 which doesn't make a whole lot of difference. for me its about the bigger online community. which system will have that bigger online crowd?

 

Yes the ps4 version has been selling better partly because there are more ps4's out there and also because some idiot at bungie or activision decided that they should only advertise destiny on playstation and act as though the xbox versions don't exist.
Some people actually think Destiny is exclusive to playstation because of this which will also effect sales.

As for the online crowd. It's not a true MMORPG so there can only be a certain amount of people in your game at any one time.

I haven't noticed any problems with the amount of people online in the xbox version. Seems to work the same as the ps4 version to me even though there will obviously be more people playing the ps4 version due to sales.

Personally I would just say if you prefer xbox live get it on xbox. If you prefer PSN or absolutely want the extra content get it on PS4

 

right makes sense. I have madden 15 for both systems and i can honestly say the ps4 madden is definitely smoother than the xbox one version. Its tough cause after a year or 2 PSN will figure it out and be on the same level as XBL
