    Can't create mod folder in Atomic Heart directory


    Here's my issue, I want to adds mods to Atomic heart (gamepass version) but the folder I need to dump the mod files doesn't exist.

    I can't create a new folder even though the option is there with the dumb admin symbol.

    So I went into permissions and set admins to own the whole of windowsapps and subfolders/files. That works fine but when I go into the game's folder the permissions are not applied. (only minimum and oddly my user account isn't listed either)

    So I try to change permissions in the game's folder and it gave me the "media is protected" error. I also tried to use an elevated cmd prompt and for some reason it gives me "media is protected" error.

    I also tried using takeover and icacls commands to gain ownership and full control but it gives me a failure error.

    So is there any way I can add a folder and files to the game directory like any other game I have ever owned?

    Don't worry we will work on this together. I really can feel you here however the game from the Game Pass can't be modded. Only the games that you purchased can be accessed.

    My recently purchased games on XBox App on Windows 10 will not play my games,

    It's not Atomic Heart specifically. It's that the XBox app is where I purchased Atomic Heart through, and because my XBox app on PC will not log me into XBox live when I launch Atomic Heart, for some reason, it also doesn't allow Atomic Heart to launch. Looking around, I'm far from the only person this seems to be happening to. And it's affecting more than Atomic Heart now. Any game I need to log into XBox live for, will not work when I launch it now. Including games like Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, which I had working just a month ago. Before anyone asks, yes, my Live subscription is up to date and active. Thus far, no remedy I've found has worked.
