Can't control OneGuide using HD DTA box from Buckeye Cablesystem

Still having issues with Xbox Live here too. I have been in contact with my ISP Buckeye CableSystems and they say other ISPs are reporting the same problems. I have heard of a few PS$ users having a problem as well. WHAT GIVES XBOX/INFINITY WARD?

im dealing with same issue. I don't have HD channels. I say Xbox watch TBS. and instead of it turning to TBS it turns to TBS HD. If I say TBS it should go. If I say TBSHD then it should go. but it not right for it to do that when we are talking. can they
please fix this,. dont force HD channels when your using a DTA box. or add more tv optionsto comcast instead of the one.

Upon further research it looks like it should control the DVR on my cable box. Or at least the recordings. But it won't.

OneGuide is not designed to control your DVR. You can use your DVR remote control to access your recordings or schedule new ones.

Note OneGuide’s playback controls (fast forward, rewind, play, and pause) will work with your DVR recordings.

I have Xfinity myself, and it took me some effort to get my box (a digital transport adapter) to work, but it does. Is this a full-on box, like for use with their X1 platform or a box with DVR, or is it a DTA like the one I'm using on my console?

I'm using the Cisco DTA-250HD box with Cox Communications. I was able to control the box by positioning the cable box at an angle towards the Kinect and then manually entering the code information.

Device control --> cable or sattleite box --> remove cable box --> cable box set up --> enter it manually --> cox cable communications --> select Cox --> enter it --> dta250hd --> select DTA250 --> set IR Delay to slow
