Can't connect xbox one to PC

    Can't connect xbox one to PC


    I do have windows 10, I've connected it to my monitor and to power, I've connected it to the router, and when I go to Settings, Devices, Connected Devices, it says "Play Devices" "XboxOne". I have used the xbox app but when I click connect, my xbox is not
    listed. My main question here is, do I need to buy a 720p TV, connect my xbox to it, then enable streaming on that, or is there a better way to do this apart from having to buy a 720p TV, because I only have a 480p one and that does not seem to work :c

    Xbox One Wireless Adapter + GamePad problem

    Hello

    I have a Xbox One Controller with Windows Wireless Adapter, and i can't connect gamepad with my windows 10 PC.

    I have been already tryed to connect with anyother PC but something doesn't work. I don't havethe Xbox ONE, so I can't check that the game pad wireless is working. If i connect Adapter to PC I will see in Device Menager: Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows.
    If I connect gamepad via USB i will see in Device Menager: Xbox Peripherals --> Xbox Controller.

    Reinstalation the driver nothing help...

    I can't really find much, only this
    support.xbox.com/.../connect-xbox-one-controller-to-pc     which you have probably already done/seen.

    Can you find the driver on your pc and delete it, then restart your pc and plug the controller back in and get a clean install of the driver again.

    Hi,

    You can't. You can connect Xbox 360's to monitors that have HDMI inputs, but you can't connect them to the PC directly as PC HDMI connectors are outputs only. The same is true for Laptop HDMI inputs.

    If you have a PC monitor you're in luck. Otherwise it's going to be TV only.

    If your PC is one of those all-in-one PCs with the computer located inside of the monitor case then this won't be possible either.

    In regard to connecting directly to the gateway; that was only possible by connecting the Xbox directly to the router via the one available lan port, and the pc to the router's usb port. Attempt to stream music to the Xbox is halted when the pc can't be
    detected. On the pc's end, no network could be detected when attached to the router via usb.

    Just for the hell of it I connected the Xbox Ethernet directly to the back of the pc; the Xbox couldn't detect the pc this way either.
