Can't connect Xbox App on Android with my Xbox One

I can not connect my Xbox One with my Mobile Device (and Windows 10 Laptop)

I can see the Xbox in my network but when I try to connect I get an error message (code: 80000005 ).

I have already checked the settings on my Xbox and restarted the device. I use the same account on my Xbox One and my mobile device.

I can't find any XBOX ONE Smartglass app,for my android phone.

But I know there is for the iPhone......

I am having this problem now as well. (btw my name is the main part of my gamer tag, I have never been arrested so please don't judge me based off my GT... it wouldn't be the first I had a ambassador get weird over my name lol, thanks) I have tried resets
redownloads, I even took my pc and box to a buddies and used his wifi... got nothing. it worked 3 or 4 days ago while I used my pc to text in chat on rocket league. is it just a waiting game or have I missed something.

side note my box is hard lined, while pc and phone are not (it was hard lined last time I connected but maybe something changed. gonna copy and paste to dopahs message so he/she can see. I'm new to threads

thank you for your help. I dont have the time at the moment but I will try your suggestions later today.

I guess the problem is related to an incorrect setting on the router or a software error on the Xbox. I can't connect to the Xbox with my mobile phone, tablet or Windows 10 laptop. Maybe a port is closed or something else. Maybe you know more.

Thank you for responding. I see you have tried quite a bit of troubleshooting already. If you are trying to sync this up using the Smartglass app, make sure to check out

this article. Console updates may sometimes affect connection between devices, for this the best option is to try a

factory reset while keeping your games and apps. This will ensure you don't lose any data or have to redownload apps/games as long as you have your email and password.

Press the Xbox button
to open the guide.
Select Settings.
Select All Settings.
Select System.
Select Console info & updates.
Select Reset console.
