Can't connect to Xbox online services on my Xbox Series S and One s. Can anyone help?

The subscription is active on both xbox one and Xbox series s.

1. Xbox one disc is original - subscription on this account
   
2. Xbox series s digital - linked to subscription
   
3. Xbox series s currently plays online
   

• Forza horizon 4
  
• Fifa 21
  
• Rocket league
  

1. Xbox one has all games downloaded on to it as they aren't disc versions
   
2. Xbox series s has games shared to it
   
3. If they series s is changed to home, what happens to the xbox one?
   

• Can xbox one play the games online?

• I don't won't to change if it means xbox one can't play games online

My son made 2 purchases of cash cards in GTA on his XBox one that haven't shown on his account.

These were purchased on 1st January and I've been trying for weeks to contact Microsoft via Live Chat/Call Back but failed every time! Each time I request a call back it just states there has been an error and to try again. It's getting beyond a joke that I can't communicate with anybody so thought I'd try posting to the community in case anyone can help. I've tried everything it advises in the self help sections.

The first purchase was for 'GTA Online: Great White Shark Cash Card (Xbox Series X|S)' @ £11.99 and the other for 'GTA Online: Bull Shark Cash Card (Xbox Series X|S)' @ £5.99, not huge sums to lose I appreciate but it's the principle of paying for something that we haven't received!

Looking at the purchase receipt, it does state that they are for series X/S but my son has an Xbox One so may be a compatibility issue.

I'd just like to arrange for these transactions to be reversed if anyone can help point me in the right direction?

That is definitely the issue. As far as I am aware, the shark cards for the series X/S will only work with the Series X/S version of the game.

Turns out it was somehow trying to connect to either the xbox one s or xbox series s consoles in my house for some reason. Turning them off fixed it.

Sidenote: In all my experiences with wireless xbox controllers (xbox 360, xbox one, xbox series x/s) the sync button needs to be held to be put into pairing mode (quarter ring rotating clockwise /flashing xbox logo), while the button on the console needs a single press, if it helps anyone.

Hi AJ, I have tried the steps you provided plus direct connected my Xbox to my router. I can not get my Xbox 360 profile to download on my Xbox Series S. I have factory reset my Xbox Series S and tried again still won't work. I even restarted my modem and router to see if that would help. Nothing works I get the same message every time can't connect to Xbox live service, check you internet connection and try again.

Any other ideas? Xbox needs to fix this, this is ridiculous.
