    Can't connect to xbox live, sign in, nor download games when my hard drive is plugged in


    My xbox works fine, but i've been having this problem that when i plug my adata 2 tb hard drive my xbox doesn't want to log me into my account, the games download at 500 kb when my internet speed is 20 mb and doesn't show me my ready to install games and
    doesn't connect to xbox live, but when i disconnect my hard drive, everything goes back to normal. Please help, been having this problem for a while...

    More than just a gaming console

    Hi all, new to forum, need to ask about external hard drives. We have the slim 360 250gb model. Now say I am up to about level 5 in a game and I want to go to a mates place and he has the same game.

    Will any external hard drive be able to be connected to the USB port on the back of my Xbox and the my profile or game level downloaded to the drive, then I can just take the drive to avmates place, plug in and play when he puts the game disk in. Will i still be on the same level and then when I return home, can I download the level I amat from my mates onto my hard drive.....

    If so what external hard drive would be the best and if not what do you recommend.

    Please Help

    I can't connect to XBOX live. I removed my hard drive from my original xbox 360 and attached it to my friends and at first I was able to connect to Xbox live and today I can't, but when the hard drive is attached to my xbox 360 I have no problem connecting
    to Xbox live. 80151909 is what comes up.

    Xbox LIVE profiles deleted via update?

    I can access my Hard Drive through the storage menu, BUT when I configure a USB Drive and plug it back in it keeps saying 'Device Not Configured'. I can't download the profiles because they are simply not even there. Xbox Support called us and helped find
    my Online Profile, but we nor they could figure out why our other profiles weren't there.

    yes my connection is all good, ive sorted it now finally, it wouldn't download onto my hard-drive but when i have a usb stick plugged in without the hard-drive it would download... weird

    Just as an addition, I have tried plugging my hard drive into my friends' xbox slim and it did the same thing. Would reset after a few seconds when signing in on any xbox live profile, but would work no problem on any profile (on the hard drive) that didn't

    I just had all the same problems as above. I disconnected the hard drive turned on the system then turned it off plugged the hard drive back in and turned the system back on. I went through to download my profile and it completed this time as well as connected
    to xbox live.
