Can't connect to Xbox Live (PC)

Hi.

For some reason I can't connect to the XBoxLive app on Windows 10. It just tells me that my connection is off while its perfectly working.

Hey mate, I'm a little confused here, as you can't to Xbox LIVE through a PC. Are you trying to connect to the PC client?

Can't connect to xbox live.

I've been connected to xbox live all day. I cut my xbox off for a while, and went to play online again but i can't connect. reset router, pc still connected to internet, everythings good, but i can't connect to xbox live. has this happened to anybody else?

What you're going to want to look at is the Network tab under Settings in the Xbox App on your PC. That will give you more details on if there is an Xbox Live service status issue or what it might be causing an issue on your network in connection to Xbox
Live. There are a number of things that could cause the problem, such as firewalls, port blocks, content blocks, etc.

If you want to provide the details of what you see on that page here, we can help direct you to some troubleshooting, or identify what is preventing your connection.

Can you all see if you're running a network proxy? You can do so by opening command prompt (Type "CMD" in start menu) and then type:

netsh winhttp proxy show

That will let you know if there is a proxy server or if you have direct access. A proxy server can cause the issues you're seeing. Let me know what you see and we can troubleshoot further.

Can't connect here either. FiOS in SoCal. Can't connect to Live on my Xbox or "Games for Windows Live" from my PC. Can't access these forums from any device connected through FiOS either. Only through cellular data. Everything else through FiOS works just
fine.

And you mentioned that the windows PC also can't connect to the internet? Then there might be some issue with a firewall blocking the access

I was able to sign in with no issues, and no errors with a mobile hotspot. I also had no problem having games syncing.\

If you're able to do it. Please try connecting your PC to a different internet source like a mobile hotspot via Wi-Fi or using a USB cable.

This can help us to determine if it's something with your internet connection or not.
