Can't connect to Xbox Live Party on Xbox Series X

I have the same problem, I can't connect to Xbox Live on the Xbox 360 games (on my xbox serie x) since few days 🤔 I precise I don't have any problem on the Xbox serie X games, I have that only on the Xbox 360 games.

My internet is perfect too (I live in Belgium)

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues using the party chat feature of Xbox. You shared that you received an error message, can you please provide the exact error message or code?

You can also test your connection for any issues by going to Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings > Test network connection.



Please make sure that your Xbox settings are configured properly. These communication settings can be adjusted to limit who you want to chat with.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then go to Profile & system.

2. Select Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety > Xbox privacy > View details & customise.

3. Select Communication & multiplayer, and then review the settings for the following to make sure that they are set to Friends or Everyone:

Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites

You can communicate outside of Xbox with voice & text

You can use video for communications

Note: If you're connected to a Discord voice channel on your Xbox console, your party chat status will say “Discord” and the name of the voice channel that you're in. I can connect to xbox live, but i can't go in a party

There isn't a specific adaptor for the Series X/S controllers for PC. The current adaptor works just fine with these newer controllers, however it is now in very short supply. There are third party ones available that do the same thing.

The Xbox 360 wireless controllers use a different WIFI protocol, they need their own Xbox 360 wireless Gaming Receiver.

Xbox One and Series X/S controllers can be connected to PC via Bluetooth, but headsets will only work with the Xbox One adaptor (or a third party version), they won't work when the controller is connected via BT

Oddly enough, I'm no longer being kicked from Xbox Live every 20-30 mins but I can't seem to accept party invitations ; I get the error "can't connect to xbox live party". Thoughts?
