Can't connect to Xbox Live on Xbox 360 via Backwards Compatibility

Backwards compatibility is built into the Xbox One at a hardware and software level, it can't be removed.

If you are unable to purchase games via the Xbox Store it's likely due to an issue with billing. I don't believe Xbox 360 games can be purchased on an Xbox One with account currency, you'll need either a Debit Card/Credit Card or PayPal to purchase these
titles. Backwards compatible games can also be purchased via the Xbox website.

Note: You don't need to buy backwards compatible games on the Store, you can also use original Xbox 360 discs. You'll still need to be connected to Live to download the Update (which is actually the game) in order to play them. The same applies to original
games on the list.

So, if you used to own an Xbox 360, own any disc games that are on the backwards compatibility list, you'll be able use these on your Xbox One.

I'm currently having the same exact issue. I can't connect any of my backwards compatible games to Xbox Live on my Xbox One. I've restarted twice and checked my internet. Neither of these are the issues. My NAT is open and evrything else is fine. I can't
connect to Xbox Live on backwards compatible games at all!

You can't connect a xbox 360 and xbox one in lan.
