Can’t connect to XBL on Back Compat Games

It all started about 2 months or so ago when I got on my Xbox One and wanted to play Fallout New Vegas when suddenly the X360 emulator didn’t gather my info and couldn’t connect to XBL even though my Xbox one was fine. This was frustrating as nothing I tried
resolving it worked. I changed and opened some ports, reset my console and router, tried a hardline connection, and simply nothing worked. I know this is a old issue but It’s still happening and I want it resolved. I just came on the forum to ask for assistance
and for any advice. Please help, thanks.

Morrowind Backwards Compatibility

I put in my morrowind disc and it said “this game can’t be played here, view the list of playable xbox 360 games at xbox.com/back compat”

I read on the sight that is WAS backwards compatible though.

Gears of war 3 profile logged out.

Trying to run gears3 on xb1 through bkwd compat. Game loads fine than signs me out. Unable to sign back in. Error status code 8015190A Checked internet connection Checked Xbl service status Made a change to avatar/signed back in Xb1 console updated earlier
today. Restarted console, same issue. Xblgt:

This morning I finally found a fix Incase someone has this problem. All I did was change the ports and update my firmware on my router. Then it worked!

I can’t connect to Xbox live on 360 back compatible games. The rest of the Xbox one behaves normally. I know it’s not a problem with my console because both my old 360 and the 360 emulator on the Xbox one do it.

I thought maybe the problem was on my end so I did a soft reset. Now the 360 emulator on the Xbox one has no profile on it. I can’t download my profile to it because it can’t connect to Xbox live. So I can’t save at all in back compatible games.

Is it a regional problem? Is it down for maintenance? The status page doesn’t mention anything.

Maybe the adapter can’t connect to the controller or it has something to do with headset not being compatible.

If the games you’re trying to play are listed as being backwards compatable the problem may be related to the current XBL issues with purchases and purchase verifications. Everytime you put a 360 disc in the Xbox One it must connect to XBL and verify itself.
Hopefully when the XBL issues are fixed your games will work.

Can't start the game since the update, it says, the CD cannot be read. I have to log off from XBL, start the game then and connect back to XBL in the game. Cannot connect to GTAO though
