Can't connect to your wireless network.

Your wireless network is secured with a WEP key or a WPA Passphrase. Your cosole may be using the wrong one.

On your PC, go to your router configuration webpage and write down your wirelsess networks WEP key or WPA Passphrease.

You can find help about WEP and WPA at www.xbox.com/networkhelp.

In the list of available networks, Press Y to discomnect, then select your wireless network gain and set it up using the correct key or passphrase.

Make sure you're connecting to hte correct wireless network. Your console is configured to connect to the **INTERNET NAME** network.

Turn your router or modem off and back on, then wait 30 seconds.

Updated but yeah it's quite old. Just wasn't sure if it could be the culprit. But other devices connect to WPA2 on there okay

I do not believe the Xbox one supports WPA2 at this time.

Oh I see, I thought it was the preferred one to use. Is it safe to assume WPA is the best supported security?

I'm glad I use wired on mine, my modem sits inches away.

5Ghz is double the bandwidth however it has half the travel distance of 2.4Ghz and is more prone to interference.

I do not believe the Xbox one supports WPA2 at this time.

Check you are inputting the correct password, lower and upper case characters matter where applicable, and ensure numbers or characters are not interchanged, ie 1(one) for l (el).

Alternatively use wired ethernet cable to connect to your gateway. (recommended)
