Can't connect to microsoft store / xbox microsoft game account using my email information.

Hi sorry for my English,

It's been long time since I tried to log using the App Authenticator which didn't worked and gave up trying,

when I type my password it says "Your account or password is incorrect. If you don't remember your password, reset it now."

So I made a new password and I still have the same issues.

Earlier today I tried to play Halo Infinite using my hotmail information and I still get the same the same messages, sometime when I try to get help from some companies using email, the outlook window opens asking me to log and I get the same messages by putting my email information.

What should I do in this case? Thank you.

Again thank you for your effort helping me, what I did is I chose the option manage and see other methods and then used my last 4 phone number to deactivate, and finally activated and I wrote down the 25 characters code now I think it's in order for Microsoft Authenticator App as well though I don't know when I will be able to use it,

Update: I'm not sure how it works when It ask me to put code still have the same thing like on screeshot I've posted no any single code appears.

That's nice to hear!

Now that you can sign in with your account, please delete and reconfigure the authenticator app via security page:

Microsoft account | Security

**Once you do that, you're going to receive a 25 characters code, save it securely. Don't lost it, is the last option if you're not able to prove your identity

It worked but I think I missed out those options you mentioned I probably saw it but I had few choices. What I did us by picking the method of confirming my last 4 phone number and then received a code in which I entered then I could change my password.

And I was just able to connect on Microsoft Windows Xbox applications using my email informations,

When I open Outlook directly it log on using my email so I don't have to type my password.

I also forgot to mention that I have an Xbox profile with gametag with games linked to my hotmail account including the gamepass I bought yesterday though it was cheap so it's not an issue.

I attempted creating a outlook account but it does ask me to pick a gamertag and I wish to use this account instead.

I will not use anything such as VPN or any kind.

Thanks for the extra info.
This can be a bit odd but can you try adding a new outlook alias in your account?
After that enable it as a sign in method and use that alias to log in halo infinite and other services:

**By the way, if you're using a VPN, DNS filter, antivirus or similar services. Disable each one temporarily
