Can't connect to live while playing a backwards compatible game.

Thank you very much, the problem was that I changed my gamertag. Again thank you very much for your help.

Couple of things could be causing this:

1. If your password is longer than 16 characters. 360s including the emulator on the Ones do not like passwords longer than 16 characters. If this is the case just make your password something less than 16 characters.

2. If you have changed your gamertag recently. 360s including the emulator on the Ones require you to redownload your profile when you change your gamertag. On the Ones you need to do this from the emulator itself by following these directions:

a. Load any 360 backwards compatible game

b. Once loaded hit the start and select buttons (small round buttons on either side of big xbox button on controller)

c. This will load the 360 guide there should be a choice to download profile.

I'm currently having the same exact issue. I can't connect any of my backwards compatible games to Xbox Live on my Xbox One. I've restarted twice and checked my internet. Neither of these are the issues. My NAT is open and evrything else is fine. I can't
connect to Xbox Live on backwards compatible games at all!

After that, I try to play Alan Wake and I still can't connect to live to download my profile. Is the 360 Backward Compatibility broken?
