Can't connect my one s through HDMI to receiver

have connected my one s to my pioneer vsx1131via hdmi, I get audio but no video, but when connected to TV directly to TV Samsung ks8000 I get audio and visual but can't watch a movie letting my receiver decide, I reset my receiver installed all updates etc.
I have spent numerous hours trying to resolve this, what do I do?

Hdr issue on Xbox one s via AV receiver

Hello!

I just bought an Xbox one s and can't get the HDR to work if I connect it via the AV receiver to the TV.

My set up is Xbox One s - - - >Onkyo Tx-nr676e - - - > Samsung UE75MU6175.

I use hdmi 2.0b cables and have hdmi pass through put on automatic.

Could someone please assist.

One bit of clarification, the XB1 connects to my receiver through HDMI, not optical audio.
