Cant connect FH4 Online

Sorry to hear about your issues when connecting to Forza Horizon 4. It seems most likely that your online connection issues are stemming from an issue with your connecting to Teredo.

Teredo is a networking protocol that some Xbox games on Xbox consoles or PCs use to establish multiplayer connections. Teredo was a way for some older titles, to establish a connection to Xbox services on Windows 10 PCs.

These games include:

• Forza Horizon 3
  
• Forza Horizon 4
  
• Gears of War 4 (for Online Co-op capabilities)
  

It doesn't appear you are seeing a specific Teredo error message but still are experiencing the issue connecting to In Game Online services. I would recommend to please start with this article.



Please note that third party applications do not have to be just security software programs. These can include anything that changes your personal computer’s registry settings, including but not limited to anti-virus/malware programs and PC optimization programs. You may need to go through the troubleshooting steps for each program identified.

Your connection may be blocked by your router. Check the support resources or documentation for your specific router on any material relating to providing a Teredo connection or port 1026.

You may not be receiving the specific Teredo is Unable to Qualify error but you may find something useful with this article.

If you are still experiencing the error after utilizing the above support articles. There are many outside factors that could result in the issue persisting. For example, one possibility is that your internet service provider (ISP) is blocking port 1026. Even if you have already opened this port, if your ISP is blocking it then you will continue to experience server connectivity difficulties.

11 days for me..... better be fixed soon.... it's not as if the have a newer game to play.

Never? Weeks? Months? Who knows. The Toredo issue with PCs last Summer went on for a month or more and some still have issues with it now. Ultimately, it depends how important Microsoft thinks the issue is...given the game is 3 years old and not a big money making game now, I suspect it's low on their priority list...after all we have had problems with connectivity for over a year now (which were never resolved) and which were then which were exacerbated by the Steam release...this is just a continuation of that really.
