Cant claim minecraft java, even tho i purchased bedrock

i have an old account that is bedrock, when i log in to claim java it wont let me but instead says to buy the bundle or buy java on its own.

Login the same account on your Microsoft Store. Then download the latest launcher here https://aka.ms/MinecraftLauncher.

it does not show minecraft bedrock edition as already purchased on this account, it is making me buy Java and bedrock. I do not want Java, I just want bedrock, which I should already have.

Unlike java minecraft Bedrock is purchased on a per-device basis.

So I go to minecraft java and bedrock edition and then click redeem a code under the three dots. After that i wait for it purchase. Then i got to the xbox app go into the microsoft acc that has minecraft on it then i will be able to access minecraft bedrock and java edition. I am correct right?

It seems that the only bundles you can purchase are the Minecraft: Java & Bedrock edition for PC and Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition Deluxe collection.
