cant choose witch drive a game is downloaded on

trying to download skyrim form the xbox app on my computer but the setting of were to have the game keeps on resetting so it dosent work. tryed another game as well as skyrim is rather buggy sometimes

Please double check if the drive that you want to use is formatted as NTFS:
For this open File explorer > my computer > right click on the drive > properties > next to file system

If the drive is already formatted as NTFS double check this:
Open Windows settings > system > storage > advance storage options (only Windows 11) > where new content is saved > under Apps select the desired drive
Restart the PC and verify if finally you can install the game on that drive

well i formatted my drive and all of my saves are still there witch is weird but ok then everything works ok then i download halo 3 then my xbox freezes then it says cant download halo 3 then turns off then 1 red ring turns on bit i can send an pic of what
i am on right now

yea im on the same boat and i did download my old acc but cant download my new acc witch has gold live ,..

yeah i have a similar problem, i just clean installed win 11 again after got my new graphics card.

And now i have hard Xbox app Problems, i cant even choose one drive.

if i delete gaming service over powershell, i can choose a drive, after reinstall the gaming service app i can still download the game i choose with xbox app but i need to delete everytime the gaming service app for new installations. its a mess

My Silver membership profile connects to Xbox LIVE but my Gold membership profile would not. I tried downloading it, then it started to download and stopped, witch deleted it from my hard drive, so now I cant even use it offline. What is going on? I'm currently
on my Silver account in a party with my friends and they can connect just fine, why is this only effecting some people?
