Does the site give you any specific error code when it fails? Have you also tried refreshing the site to see if that made any difference? Lastly, if you're running extensions like uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger (Or any cookie blockers in general), have
you tried turning them off to see if that made any difference? (They have a tendency to break certain sites if certain stuff is blocked).

Hello JoriKivimäki, sorry to hear you're having trouble changing your gamertag.

I think the issue here is that the message you're receiving is that the name is not allowed. To me this suggests that the name or at least a portion of it may have issues with it.

Upon searching a portion of the common gamertag it turns out that a shortened version of Jorkka has some insulting and rude connotations to it and this may be why you're having the trouble. I would recommend trying to find a different gamertag to use.

Then why I was able to find one user with the name Jorkka on xbox? How do they can use it then?

When if fails it shows a box saying "Please retry" "Something went wrong" and it shows 2 lines:

"gkGkgJ2ivZK35WZXvvo5P+.0.5"

"2020/12/31 - 06:54:34 UTC"

and sometimes there are 3 lines:

"DCAT-ResourceNotFound"
"i2uh4qmVWnKpxj+34fKqg8.0.6"
"2020/12/31 - 06:58:55 UTC

I have uBlock Origin installed but I disabled it and it's still not working

I wish I had an answer for that one. Unfortunately we can only go by the information we've been given and have on hand.
