Can't change the Privacy Settings for son's Minecraft game

be sure to allow the User Created content option at
http://account.xbox.com/settings

option to for your Son's account. Since you are receiving an error please also try to see what happens via a different browser.

After the setting was changed without any errors showing please have his account sign in again and see if the game will allow his account to play.

If for some reason the error keeps showing it might be best to contact Xbox Support via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat, so they can look into that error. You can contact Xbox Support via http://support.xbox.com/contact-us.

Hi during setting up the Xbox one for my son I entered my date of birth instead of his by mistake. Can I change this? If so I don't know how to thanks.

Also what privact settings should i have on there to protect my son whilst gaming online?

As far as I'm aware you can't change the date of birth for an Xbox account. However, you can change the privacy settings of the account. you can do this by going into settings, account and then selecting privacy and online followed by Xbox live privacy. these
settings can be changed to allow messages, online play etc.

I understand that you have already managed your son's Xbox privacy settings yet to no avail.

Just in case this would work, try to turn on all of your son's Xbox privacy settings to "Block" > save the changes > and sign out of your Microsoft account > Sign back in and turn your son's account all privacy settings again to "Allow" and "Everyone" then save. > After signing out, have your son sign back into the Microsoft Store and Minecraft launcher to check if he will be able to play multiplayer on Minecraft.
