Can't change the permissions of an .exe file

Games from Xbox are encrypted and cannot be modded, and are secured and locked down from tampering.

Try to update your windows 10 first.

To manage your options and see available updates, select Check for Windows updates. Or select Start > Settings > Windows Update .

Then change your .exe permission by right-click the executable and select “Properties” and “Security.”

Select “Edit.”

Choose the user from the list and change the permissions to “Full Control” under Allow, or select “Add” to add a new user and give them Full Control access.

Press Apply to save your changes.

So let me sum up.
I purchase a game.
It is installed on MY PC.
I cannot... even change permissions on my very own PC, my file system, on a game I purchased with MY money.

Main interest of PC gaming is the ability to mod/cheat the game.

We're talking about GAMING, we're not talking about upholding the law... tssss....

When I purchase a game from Steam: no issue.
But you tell me other games from XBOX are... encrypted even if I purchased them.

Waht you say is a complete non-sense.

- uninstall it,
- purchase next games from Steam,
- stop reading advices from kids on Internet...

Attempted to take ownership on the XBOX folder. everything EXCEPT the .exe files changed. ALL of the .exe files in that folder did not change they all had the same error " Failed to enumerate... Access denied. I can't even change anything with the permissions section either. All grayed out.
