    Can't change the country when trying to purchase


    Hey everyone, I can't change the country when trying to purchase a subscription. I'm in Ireland, the region in my account is set to Ireland, both my shipping and billing addresses are set to Ireland, my payment option is PayPal, which also has a shipping
    and billing addresses set to Ireland. I've had this problem before and I somehow managed to purchase it(I think cause of paypal), but now I'm really out of options.I know this problem is something most of you guys have heard of but has anyone come across with
    a solution besides making a new account?

    What country are you trying to purchase to subscription from? I'm just trying to figure out why you would need to change it.

    Try going to https://account.microsoft.com/?ref=MeControl in "Your Info" at the top of the page, click on it and you will find your country and language settings.
    If after that your problem is still not resolved, visit https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/subscriptions-billing/browse to find a solution.
    If your problem is still not resolved, contact Microsoft customer service who has control over your account settings but right now, there is a lot of waiting (because of COVID-19)...

    Sorry I forgot to add- the country is set to United States in grey so I can't change it click on it. I'm trying to purchase in Ireland, I've never even been in the US, I've tried everything I think I could

    Please check on https://live.xbox.com/Account/BillingAccountInformation if the billing country really matches your account country. If the country shown
    is not Ireland, try to migrate your account country here: https://live.xbox.com/AccountMigration

    If you use a credit card from a different country than what you set in paypal, this might be also an issue.

    However, we in this forum can't look into your billing account to see what's wrong.

    You might have to contact the official support. Go to https://beta.support.xbox.com/contact-us

    Check in the lower left corner, that the country for the website is Ireland.

    Then click on the "Contact us" button and choose "Subscriptions & Billing" and then "I want to buy a subscription". Click on Next, sign in if not already done so, and either have them call you back or chat with support. The other options like asking in the
    forum or chatting with the community won't help, as we can't access your billing information.
