    Can't change privacy information online.


    I have just merged my mojang account with my minecraft account and no longer have access to realms or multiplayer on minecraft java edition. It says I need to check my privacy settings, but there is nowhere online where I am able to do this. The link on "manage app privacy settings" just links back to the same page. If anyone knows how I can change my privacy settings online it would be hugely appreciated.

    How are you?

    You are not seeing the page to adjust your account privacy settings because your account is underage

    An adult account will be needed to create a family group with your account and the adult account will be able to adjust these settings.

    I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

    Please verify your account age because even if your account is set as an adult, it is best to double-check your birthdate in your Microsoft Account settings: https://account.microsoft.com/ to make sure it reflects your correct age.

    And then check family group settings. If your account is part of a Microsoft Family Group, it may still be restricted. Kindly leave the family group by visiting Microsoft Family: https://family.microsoft.com/ and selecting Leave Family Group.

    Be guided that an account can only leave the family group if it is an adult account.

    Next is to customize your Privacy and Security settings using a different device or browser and then go to: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=746875

    Hey there, if you can't afford the name change you could try changing some of your privacy settings so that random people can't send you messages or see your online status.

    You can change your (son's) privacy settings online. Keep in mind that a child account has certain restrictions placed on it that cannot be changed. See here for instructions and more information:
