Can't change Primary Alias

Discus and support Can't change Primary Alias in XBoX Accessibility to solve the problem; I sign in and go to my account settings to change my primary alias from a provided xboxlivefamily.com email address, however underneath that one...     Can't change Primary Alias


    I sign in and go to my account settings to change my primary alias from a provided xboxlivefamily.com email address, however underneath that one particular email address there's a message reading "Your organisation's policies prevent you from changing your primary alias"

    Is there a way to get this sorted without calling the US time zoned help center? I'm in the UK and am either sleeping or working when the phone lines are open.

    Hello Sean, by your description it appears that your account is linked to a Family account, if that is the case you will have to ask the Family host to enable this alias exchange possibility, or to delete your Family account so that you can make the changes you want to your account.
