Can't change online privacy & security settings to allow multplayer for my son's ...

Hi during setting up the Xbox one for my son I entered my date of birth instead of his by mistake. Can I change this? If so I don't know how to thanks.

Also what privact settings should i have on there to protect my son whilst gaming online?

As far as I'm aware you can't change the date of birth for an Xbox account. However, you can change the privacy settings of the account. you can do this by going into settings, account and then selecting privacy and online followed by Xbox live privacy. these
settings can be changed to allow messages, online play etc.

To change the Minecraft Realm privacy for everyone, follow these steps:

Sign in to your Xbox account.
Open the Xbox app and select “Minecraft.”
Select “Settings” and then “Privacy and security.”
Select “Change online privacy and security settings.”
Select “Everyone” to allow anyone to join your Realm, or select “Friends” to allow only your friends to join.
Save the changes.

Hi there, I believe so as long as your console is set to the 'Home' setting, alternatively you can allow purchases on the child's account by changing their privacy and security options.

Home setting:

Online Security and Privacy:

I have set the every Privacy and Online settings to
allow or everyone,both in my account and parent account,it still no work

You can also change the setting of your Online Privacy on the website under the Manage account tab.

Go to Privacy and security it will give you a option for multiplayer that needs to be changed to Allow.
