    Can't change my profile picture on the Xbox app to a custom photo no matter what the photo is


    I've been having trouble with the Xbox app recently, more specifically I'm having a problem changing the profile picture to a custom screenshot, every time I select the screenshot to upload as my gamerpic it says "Error while Getting Selected Files" and doesn't actually change the picture, I checked and the photo I want to upload as my Gamertag is suitable in terms of size and such so there shouldn't be any problem, I've changed my profile picture before and I've never had this problem, what can I try to fix this problem?? I've tried signing out and back in and uninstalling and reinstalling, that didn't work, I am on mobile not PC

    Hello Mammoth, it could be some error of the App in sending the selected photograph to the servers.

    As you mentioned that it's on the mobile app, try uploading your Gamepic through the Xbox PC App, or even through the website by logging in with your Xbox account.
